Partnering with Exotic Genetix Mike, who utilized the Strawberry Jello cut to create the Strawberries and Cream F2, Grateful Seeds embarked on a quest for the best expression of these rare, exotic strawberry terps. After an extensive pheno hunt, they unearthed phenotype 24, a standout selection boasting wild, fresh strawberry notes packed into dense, rounded buds with classic cookie bag appeal and impressive resin content.
This exceptional phenotype was then crossed with the Fresca Melon (Zkittlez x Watermelon Zkittlez) cut from Dying Breed Seeds, sourced from Grateful Seed’s friend @Lachanviere. The Fresca Melon, renowned for its wildly exotic flavour profile blending sweet cantaloupe melon and ripe apricot aromas with tropical notes like passion fruit, was an obvious choice. With Watermelon Zkittlez contributing epic resin potential, the result is Strawmelon—a testament to Grateful Seeds’ meticulous selection and breeding practices.
